Monday Afternoon

It was four o'clock p.m. and class was dismissed

All of my paper works and seat works are finished.

So I went out of the school campus with my friend

And there outside I saw my guy best friend.

He wanted to meet a guy linked to me.

Such a cute and protective guy, that's what I see.

We waited for the guy he wanted to meet

But we could neither see him in the campus nor on the street.

After a while the guy showed up,

I wanted to approach him and ask "what's up?"

But my best friend went ahead of me

He is like the sweetest guy on earth, isn't he?

Time came and he decided to go.

So I said "If ever we'll meet I'll let you know."

He left me and my friend together

Then we saw the guy and asked him to come over.

I thought my best friend went home and got bored

But I saw him at a nearby store across the road.

He was glancing and staring at me

It seems like he's waiting for someone to approach me.

He crossed the street and came closer,

And there they got to meet each other.

Sadly, my best friend said goodbye, leaving too soon

But still, he made this day a cheesy Monday Afternoon.

Friends and Sweets

INGREDIENTS OF A GOOD SET OF FRIENDS:

1 cup of kindness

1 teaspoon of imperfection

10 mg of fun

4 cups of good influence

5 ml of inspiration

1 bowl of love

They were just somebody and someone in our class. I never thought that they would mean a lot to me. Though my best friends aren't with me all the time, at least these people always stay by my side. In times of happiness we enjoy with each other. When one feels like falling down, we hold each others' hands, pick them up and let them stand again. That's what friends are for.

INGREDIENTS OF CREAM CHEESE FROSTING:

two 8 ounce packages of cream cheese, 1/4 cup (half a stick) of butter, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract and 3-4 cups powdered sugar.

PROCEDURE:

You need the cream cheese and butter to be slightly softened, so you can either leave it out on the counter for a few hours or nuke it in the microwave for 20 seconds. Beat together the softened cream cheese and butter until creamy. Add in the vanilla extract and beat for another 30 seconds. Now start adding the powder sugar 1 cup at a time and beating in between each addition.

Take two: Friendship is back

It's a comeback for their friendship!

After 2 years of no communication, their friendship is finally back!

Their 3-year friendship almost ended when they were in their freshmen years. The teenagers (not stating their real names) became bestfriends when they were in 5th grade. It's a "boy-girl bestfriendship" thing so let's face it. It's really hard to keep a friendship like that. They developed feelings for each other and it made their friendship really complicated. But guess what, they were able to fix it. Glad they did!

Here comes the start of their freshmen year- where they decided to end what they've started. Being in 2 different sections was hard for the both of them. They only see each other during break time, locker time and dismissal. They had inspirations from their class and that's the reason why they parted ways. Insecure maybe? Nah. It's more of time management and of who to prioritize more. 

In their Junior year (their current year) they became classmates. Awkward, yes it is. They don't talk to each other and they don't talk about each other when they're inside their classroom. But earlier this August, the guy approached the girl. He was asking for forgiveness and all that. "It has been 2 years and it should already be forgotten. We could start again but I cannot assure that we'll be as close as how we were before." the girl stated. Generally speaking, he was forgiven. They started their friendship again and together, they hoped that nothing would ruin it again.

And now, they have their new bestfriends already. But still, they became friends.

Note:

This is for the teens out there who lost their bestfriends in a strange way or something. Well, don't push them away if they ever come back. It may not just be his/her fault, maybe it's yours too. Try to work things out. He was your bestfriend, someone you gave your trust to but broke it. You may not give him/her the trust you have given before. It's your choice. Chance is what you have to give. Another chance for him/her and for your friendship. Start from the bottom and continue what you almost ended before.

          He's your guy best friend. He's your brother, your teacher, your doctor, your enemy, your crush or maybe your special someone. He's everything your boyfriend is not. He's there when nobody else was-- when you're upset, when you forgot to do your homework, when you feel sick and all that. He teases you, he gets your shoes then throws it away. He drinks your water, eats all your food and leaves you with nothing. When you're about to cry, he makes you laugh out loud. And of course, he makes you happy.

          Why bother look for a crush if you already have your best friend? Your best friend will always be there for you but will your crush be? Have you  ever asked yourself: Why would I look for someone better if I already have the best?-- the best friend anyone could have. The best "everything and anything" that I could ever have. Upon realizing, you don't need to rush. Just take care of your friendship. Never ever do anything that might ruin it. Don't confess your feelings. Stay as you are. If possible, make your friendship stronger and longer. In time, when you two are matured enough, tell each other your feelings. Get into a relationship. And make it last forever. You are best friends and lovers. Enjoy both sides of each other.

Walking alone makes us think, remember and reflect on something. Walking with someone doesn't make us feel alone, sometimes it makes us happy and loud. But if that someone is your special someone, walking will mean everything to you.

Letters and Persons

Everyone should have friends or "barkada". It makes them feel that they aren't alone. In this poem, I compared letters to persons.

Letters are like persons

When put together, it creates a whole

Letters create words

Persons create gangs.

Standing alone, it has its purpose

To make a whole, better or worse

Each has it's designated group

A group where it can, and should  fit perfectly.

Imagine letters standing alone

Can only make sounds, not meanings.

Afraid of the world, no one to run to.

One can't stand alone forever

Each should belong in a group

Letters are better in a word.

Best Friends

Friendship is the most complicated stage in the story of love-- especially, being best friends. While you get closer to each other everyday, you fall more deeply in love. You do things to each other which to don't do to anyone else. Maybe because you have feelings for each other? Or maybe because you're best friends. It's either of the two. If you feel special and important, there's a possibility, but there's no assurance.
